I've been blogging since '01 and I posting a lot on livejournal since '03. my name is japans on there. my main two loves are music and video games. the music being bands such as bright eyes, rilo kiley, jack's mannequin, something corporate, and the hush sound. I also love a lot japanese/korean music like utada hikaru, akb48, wonder girls, and ai otsuka. as for the video games I love a lot of rpgs. I'm a huge fan of the final fantasy series (viii being my favorite). pretty much I'm a big nerd, haha. Anyway I used to have a deadjournal a long time ago but decided to make this one for this new phase of my life and was looking for friends, if anyone is still active on DJ! lol. I know most people have changed to livejournal but I think deadjournal is the best and always will be, even if no one else thinks so. I'm a down to earth person and easy to get along with. I'm female, nineteen and obsessed with anime, though I DO have other interests, such as video games. I also use little faces a lot, such as: :D, ^_^, and ;_;. If this bothers you, please do not add me. I've had my DJ since 2002 (I keep thinking it was 2003 when I got it, but it's not...) and would like to get back into full swing with updating it. If you DO add me, I request that you do NOT look at my older entries, since they were really immature, silly and obsessive. What do I like? As I mentioned before, anime (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Utena, Yuugiou, and Fullmetal Alchemist to name a few) and video games (Sonic the Hedgehog and Kingdom Hearts series to name a HUGE example) are the huge ones, but I do have other interests. I like books, such as Harry Potter and Artemis Fowl. I'm really open minded. I'm also into fandom and slash/femmeslash. Oh, and crossovers. If that bothers you, please don't add me. I just started a new journal and am hoping to make some friends. :] Basics: - 22 and female; I live in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. - Single, and not really interested in a relationship at the moment. - Currently unemployed, but I volunteer at an animal shelter taking care of cats. I'm also planning to return to college this autumn to study medical coding. - Obsessed with music and cinema; also an avid reader. - Enjoy sketching in my free time, but I don't consider myself an artist of any sort. - Love to travel, especially abroad. I've been to the Netherlands and England. - Grew up agnostic, but now an unaffiliated Christian. Regardless, I'm very open-minded and accepting of others' beliefs. - Struggle with major depression, anxiety disorder, and some other mental issues -- but I try not to complain too much. My journal will mostly consist of daily ramblings, perhaps some pictures, as well as discussion of books I've read or films I've seen. Hello everyone! [11 Feb 2008|01:03am] rise_up_rise_up [ mood | Cheerful. ] [ music | "Pure Morning" - Placebo ] My name is Natasha, and I'm brand spankin' new to Deadjournal. I've been a Livejournal owner for years, but I wanted to try something new. I'm a 20 year old female living in Wisconsin. I want to go to college for photography, but haven't yet due to lack of dinero. Hopefully this fall, though, will finally be my time. I enjoy reading books and manga. Currently, I'm working on DOGS: Bullets and Carnage. The last two mangas I read were DOGS, and Absolute Boyfriend. I play bass guitar[though not well]. I love music. I used to be a punk rocker, but have toned it down and broadened my musical taste. Lately, I've been listening to a lot of Cursive, Roy Orbison, The Casualties, and Placebo. I'm usually pretty open-minded when it comes to music... I'm still not into most rap or new country, though. I am obsessed with dying my hair. It's an addiction. I haven't had my natural hair color since three months after I turned 15, and I lost count of how many times I've dyed my hair after 60. That was over two years ago. Due to this hobby, I usually post a lot of pictures. Just a warning. BUT I am good about using cuts for larger picture posts, because I have dial-up, and I know how much it sucks when one of your friends posts an entry with 50 pictures in it without a cut. -_- Basically, I'm usually a pretty optimistic girl[though I can get extremely pessismistic, don't get me wrong]. My favourite director is Ingmar Bergman. - I like to travel, although I've only been to three countries outside of my own (Canada, England, and the Netherlands). However, I hope to visit Sweden and Germany within the next few years. - I'm planning to read 50 books this year. My favourite writers are Cormac McCarthy, Flannery O'Connor, and Franz Kafka -- among many others. - I'm very much interested in history, particularly medieval history and the World Wars. - I love animals and I do volunteer work at an animal shelter, taking care of cats. - I suffer from severe social anxiety, psychosis and depression, so occasionally my entries may be a little strange or not so happy. I spend a lot of my time raving about that particular obsession and about fandom - I'm trying to stop being a music snob. I know what I like, but I am open minded to any new music you want to throw at me. Some of my favourites at the moment: Placebo, DCFC, Ben Folds, MCR, the Beatles, Tripod, the Hairspray soundtrack. - I love comedy. I favour quality stand-up - like Wil Anderson, Ross Noble, Dave Callan, Noel Fielding, Mitch Hedberg, Fiona O'Loughlin - and Britcoms - Black Books, Blackadder, Red Dwarf, Coupling, Monty Python - and I can quote huge chunks of my favourite shows and sketches - I could be considered a total geek - and I'm proud to say it :D I spend all possible time on my computer, I'm in love with fantasy and sci-fi fiction I easily get drawn into discussions on obscure facts about Buffy, Star Wars and the aforementioned Harry Potter - I would advise you not to add me if you are racist, homophobic or in any way bigoted, because you will get lynched.
